About the WVPCA

History of the WVPCA

Welcome to the internet home of the West Virginia Police Canine Association.

We are a non profit organization that was established in 1993 to network police service dog teams throughout the

state of West Virginia. While developing performance standards, we continue to provide training opportunities and other

resources to assist members in the performance of their professional duties to the public.

Our mission is "To Unite and Assist Police Service Dogs and Handlers in the state of West Virginia."

Are there any historians out there? We are looking to add some of the colorful history of the WVPCA to this section of the web site. We have many

areas where we need information to fill in the blanks.
